so 2 guys 3 girls decided to head to YAMAHA in search for jiayi's harmonica (-____-''), tong took us for a short car ride before we finally decided on gg back sch for Settlers'! seeing the guys play taboo is super duper funny pls. laughed so hard till my stomach hurt.

was looking forward to this party!! its like the 1st time in 3.5 mths i really felt relax enough to mingle ard freely with everyone else. During sch term, everyone was just busy leading their own individual lives, busy rushing from one Seminar room to another, busy rushing through their revision in the library, busy with endless project meetings. and even if we did get to meetup to "chill" alil,our talks was always revolving ard sress and school.never once did our mind leave our books.

So yes, i am just glad melvin once again organise a house party (the previous one was before sch term started). It was fun :)People came in the most outrageous uniforms man! like male nurse,doctor,F1 crew,hawaiian waitor (??!),interesting australians unis and 1 CHIJ BOY (-.-)and another cross dresser(this prof muay thaiguy fitting into ultra tight fitting YJ uniform!!). LOl
i should have taken pic of us all gettin our ear Pegged.I DIN KNOW CLOTHING PEG CAN HURT SOOOOOO MUCH ON THE EARS!! lol. wth. i think most of us (guys and girls) , were almost in tears!! stupid game tt mel always come up with. Thankgod there wasnt alot of drinking! i went home looking pink, NOT RED. :)

unfortunately, no photos of my curly hair. dunno why we forgot to tk. but anw, i wont take a pic of it until i get to wash my hair and have it restyled :)

so anw, comments so far generally positive and neutral. Apparently, bcos i opted for the natural loose curls look it didnt turn out auntie (my greatest fear),but as a result, my mum said its not "curly enough". so oh well..
But anw, im pretty much satisfied with it. bf esp loves it over my previous hairdo. so yayness! :D

today, finallly managed to have a breather after 6 days of darn intensive revision. had prata for supper with tong,sop & pete at some nearby 24hr indian rest...we were all pretty emo as we walked down the streets of Bencoolen (ok, lets just say Orchard rd la).
we went "wah.. xmas is coming..." .Yea ,we were dazzled by the xmas lightings in orchard rd and the breathtaking night view of SAM.Despite the fact tt we're in our city campus 24/7, we have never gotten a chance to really stop,breath and appreciate.

I am so jaded. I was rather pissed just now over xxx and while i was gg on ranting, my head sortof spin for a split second =/

Anyway , this week marks the end of MY 1ST SEMESTER IN SMU. i cant believe its over, yet i cant believe wad the mere 3.5 mths has done to me (and my fellow sch mates). I swear everyone's looking so chui. Ive got smart friends walking ard head hung low cos their morales rock bottom and party-animal friends who are looking geekish.

On a side note, i must say sch havent been that bad. Infact we were emo-ing quite abit on the last lesson of LTB, and were cam-whoring on the last lesson of AW.
I am gonna miss the peeps so much. Glad im bidding most of my mods with the darlings next term.

The only happy thing to rave abt is the blaw presentation which my grp got A+ for. the craziest and most stressful 4 days that ive ever had was all worthwhile. I was at the verge of giving up cos of all the nonsense tt cropped up at the very last min when CT text me "Im damn glad that you're in the group".That sentence of his did wonders :)
Blaw midterm test result was also above expectation.really thankful for that.

Now, im just left with a frigging module that im afraid i may not successfully clear. I am feeling so screwed up, it is so close to becoming like how i felt a week before Geog As.

Im feeling depress bt my stats test.
have a feeling i wont do very well. and this unexplainable feeling is making me even more depress.
im feeling so low. it is beyond words :(

Here's my story ;
when i 1st entered SAJC,i thought i'll b one of the stupiest ppl there cause my Olevel score was the max that they excepted
and when i went to A2 a class filled with fellow 12 pointers , it was no consolation for me knowing that half the class were from 'elite' secondary schs
and even though I remained one of the top in class for 2 yrs, i was convince that as i was in the lousiest class, there were 19 other classes of people who are way smarter than me
and even when i received bursary (whatever it is) for being the top 10% of the cohort (which i still find it impossible), i thought I was uncomparable to the far more smarter people from the top JCs.

I know thats crazy alot of stress i have exerted on myself.
so when i made it to SMU , i told myself to be less uptight since everyone will be starting from grd 0, just like me... (although tons of them are like top 5% in their poly/jc cohort !!)

but seriously, i must be kidding myself.
smart people will always be smart people. I, unfortunately dun have the smart genes.
I have to rely on my hard work once again....

Oh well, lets see how all my tests go..
I need to really rethink what i want out of my uni life.

Bf paid for a pretty dress which caught my eyes and I finally decided i shall get Pazzion Wedges at all cost (shoot me,for being such a hypocrite). WOOHOO!That is happiness plsssss. Rmb how much ive been wanted to get new clothes and stuff?Anw, It is sooooooo pretty la and and i didnt feel a pinch cos seriously i think i deserve to reward myself for persevering e past 1.5 mths in uni. HAHA.
and then i bought bf a nice fitting grey berms.(its as difficult as hell trying to find a pair of berm to fit bf's humongous butt ok!)

Okay here comes to best part.
So after the fabulous shopping, Bf and i decided to settle our dinner at Sketches Pizza and wine Bar and create our very own designer Pizza (lol)

As you can see, the designer name is J& Z (damn cliche la i know) and we were crossing our fingers cos our creation has the weirdest ingredients like Eggplant, garlic,onions,basil and its main ingredient is MUSHROOM (no, we're not fans of it) o.o

But oh myyy. It turned out awesome . Seriously the best pizza ever !! the cheese,ham + bolognese sauce gave it a taste of Hawaiian .The different mushrooms created the crunchiness and made our pizza less dry and most importantly the garlic added lotsa fragrance and taste to the pizza..............totally orgasmic and heavenly!

Just when i was happily indulging in my ingenious creation, i caught sight of PLASTIC (think plastic wrap) in my pizza amidst the cheese and mushrooms. i totally freaked out and what the hell, there's like lotsa more when i started tearing my pizza apart (!!)

ok chill ppl, i din eat any of it. im so sure.unless part it has melted alrd....

So nonetheless bf was furious and called for the waitor. and he wanted to appear really angry and unhappy like his some health-conscious freak. so ok lor, i played along..

waitor: i am so sorry, we will replace you a new pizza

me: No, we're very full alrd (we were only left w a slice)

waitor: ok, we will waive off your bill , very sorry abt that x3

bf & I: (secretly smiling to ourselves) Ok.

so off we go, we left the restaurant in a huff, looking disgusted.

HAHAHAHA.

Eh.then again, i think it is no joke if i had gotten food poisoning (which thankfully i did not since its been 3 days..)and how sad issit that our very own creation was ruin by the chef who added an extra "ingredient" for us! :(

Lesson of the day : bring small pieces of plastic or as my mum suggest , insects, to restaurants and you may end up with a free meal. teehee ;)

anyway, i just MAMA MIA-ed w bf. the movie's awesome! very light hearted and commical. it really got me grooving and into the whole retro mood again. haha.
it feels espeacially gd to watch sucha movie after a stressed up week(S) :)
so anyway, if i have to compare, this movie certainly isnt as fab as the MAMA MIA musical 2 yrs back in Esplanade. This one's got lotsa twist in its plot.. and erm it imparts pretty wrong moral values??? haha. ah wadeva.

anyway, before that, i headed down to SAM for fleatique with Juli,bf joined shortly aft :) been going to fleas in hope of finding stuff that will catch my eye. but once again, i came back empty handed. sighs!

Ive thinking really hard for weeks as to whether i should get the $66 Pazzion wedges.Its probably one of the few shoes that ever caught my eye, and yes, its just what ive been looking for.

But all that ideas came to naught yesterday when i was reading the papers. In india,18 and probably more, women lost their lives in a stampede,while trying to vye for jus $6.

What do most of us to with that sum of money? Get a slice of cake that barely fill our stomach? Spent it on cab when we could have easily completed the journey by foot? Or perhaps get a pair of pathetic earrings that we'll barely wear?

jus when i thought the whole drama bt my fever is over.......
ive got f bad rashes!!!! ok the rashes started when i was having fever, but it didnt get THIS BAD. funny how ive recovered from fever but the rashes actually spread to my upper body:on my shoulders,chest,stomach and a lil here and there on my back.
gets esp itchy and unbearable at times. ARGH.
and bcos of that, i have to plan what to wear everyday so that my hideous rashes r not exposed. (apparently, from this experience, i realise i dun have many 'decent' clothes) TSK.

so i finally went to see the clinic in school again. NTUC medicare. bcos its free,they give pretty lousy medicine (in the case of my last trip when i was dying from fever).Hope the itch and rash med will work for me this time rd :/

After 5 days of hell, i finally broke free from the fever spell =]

this week's been the hellest week ever.
one moment my temp's soared so high i felt like i will faint any time, the next moment, i was shivering in sch like mad as tho it was snowing (when its in fact room temp) and on another day, i found myself puking like crazy in the toilet during morning class.

i felt so sick that I actualy gave my biz law lecture a miss :/

and because i slept the whole week (almost) away, i was growing increasingly depress ,upset and helpless bt the piling mountain of work ive got to do.As a result, bf had to bare w my wrath. For 5 days , i was just angry with him 24/7 for reasons i cant explain.i was throwing my temper about simply bcos i was angry....
sighs. im so sorry baby.

anw, now that im feeling better, ive got to get back to serious work.

for the 2nd consecutive day ,the grissly remains of a dead rat lies in the middle of the road while stray cats roam ard a few metres away,oblivious that food's just ard the corner. (maybe they prefer fresh food???)

it is sooo not nice to wake up in the morning,hopeful of having a better day ahead... walking a few steps out of your door and then finding some big fat grey stuff lying motionless . with a closer look u'll see blood........*faints*

urghhhhhh. it was so horrible. i was so terrified and disgusted. i felt so sick, i had to text baby right away while trying veryveryvery hard to look away :(

family has plans to go to Eastern Europe for our annual CNY trip. and mum's at some travel fair and just called back to ask if a 12 day trip will b fine for me...
missing 5 days of lesson is no joke, cos attendence is taken pretty seriously for some prof in smu and i dun want it to affect my GPA. On the other hand, i have no intentions of jeapardising my parents holiday plans since my dad rarely gets a break from work .The fact that he's getting old,he should really be going to places instead of having his plans getting hindered by me.

like what i told some of you, pls allow me to emo for the first week or so. i guess its inevitable bcos im now in a whole new environment,surrounded by new people and getting use to a new culture. and i cant emphasis further how much i really suck at it. Hence the reason why my ans to my cousin qn on whether i'll b gg Aussie anytime soon to study is a straight and definite NO!

anyway i wanted to just put u guys mind at ease.. and that is, i think school isnt too bad(for now). apart from yucky weds (which isnt tt yucky anymore ,will go to that later),i go to sch on mon, tue & thurs for 1.5-3hrs of class, then head home. i suppose more staying back will come after this week cos of projs, but yea u get my drift. so far im still juggling everything fine.

As for the whole Smu class participation thing, i see myself speaking out more in future. just need to get use to it and feel comfortable in class.Like today, i managed to ~~force~~ myself to ask 2 qns during biz law!! WOOHOO. wad an achievement. very proud of myself okayy (:

As for being lone soul in smu apart frm all my pl &jc pals...alvin was asking me today "why u have so many friends ah???!!" haha apparently i stopped over many times along the walkway to talk to my friends.so YAY!! not that lonely what!!

and we walked MILES, i swear! from Area C to where the Cable Ski place is (Area D). it was so frigging far , i cldn stop whining. bf cldnt tk it and decided we shld just rent a double seat bike to get to our destination. LOL

Thats probably the most brilliant sugg of the yr. cos it was muchmuchmuch further than we thought! if not for the bike we would need the whole night to get there by foot. =/

Decided to checkout Tangs Bazaar w my cheapo partner,Mich.HAHAHA. anyway the stuffs were cheap but sadly there wasnt much to see. rather pathetic i would say. got shirts for daddy n bf. and nothing for myself :( So we decided to try our luck at shopping by gg Suntec city instead. man, i didnt know bt the whole lot of new shops opened at the highest floor (beside the Arcade)!!! its darn cool. sadly biz is really poor there cos i suppose most ppl like me didnt know bt it??

Bondue (Business) Camp was uber fun, mad & disgusting!

Day1: All squeaky clean before the games

When the most disgusting-ever games start...

*click to enlarge,strictly not for animal lovers* we were f playing captains ball w a CHICKEN, SQUID and papaya. majorly gruesome i swear. the chicken was tearing apart. me being the kindhearted,animal loving me, refused to tk part in tt. instead i played w the squid :( but i seriously was unprepared for it, when they threw the tentacles at me i siam and everyone was screaming at me. lol

all other station games were just dirty and disgusting ,like literally.

-had peanut butter all over our faces & hair (oh, it makes a fab hair wax btw :S )

-tomato sauce smeared all over our body (i felt nausea when i ate tomato flavoured potato chips aft tt :/ )

-our butt smeared w banana +colgate+egg+all sorts of sauce

-our clothes soaked entirely in fruit juice

-our hair filled w watermelon chunks+mud (cos we wore a watermelon as a helmet)

-our entire body filled w food colour stains (cos thousands of colour waterbombs were thrown all over)

Ok before u flip,let me explain. 2 girls & 1 guy have to place a frigging balloon at the groin area and go thru some shit obstacles. and at the finishing line, the guy has to thrust his hips to burst the balloon.

Alas,Stage games at Night :D (awesomely funny. havent laughed so hard in the longest time!!)

good gracious.knowing how blur i am and how much i suck at games,i became the forfeit queen & was f high. first one to get drunk. and started laughing hysterically , non stop and went mad dancing mambo at mambo room while my whole grp was frantically searching for me, worried i fell aslp at some toilet or got raped (felt super guilty aft tt :/) and 3 of my fingers got slammed by the door but i was too high to feel the pain only much later when i was sleeping. and apparently i woke up suddenly to scold some guys for talking loudly in the middle of the night. HAHAHAHA.madnessss.

As the name suggest, the camp wasnt abt fun but more on leadership building and inculcating the values of smu into you.Boring i know. i went there w a heavy heart, felt i was being tortured during the camp. hahaha. but it was great altho it wasnt all that fun. i guess the peeps in my team made it a hellot better camp. and the activities did strengthen us together and have indeed trained our tolerance level and patience :)

Even the faci himself admitted the activities were meant to fustrate ppl and cause conflicts. haha that didnt really happen fortunately :D

life's been really reall really busy.
my weekends which r 2 pathetic days have to b shared w sch,bf& family. and in the end ive barely had quality time w any.
weekdays are not any better cos it'll b filled w driving,friends,sch and coming up next are Camps.ofcos there r a day or 2 when i wasnt packed w activities, but sometimes i really need days like that all for my own to have a gd rest.
i am very busy but missing many many many ppl :(

Anyway the highlight for this week was yy my fav indian's bday surprise! teehee. it tured out a success despite cia & my very last min planning :D happy 19th darling. love u always!!

well, so thats actually the 5th bday ive planned this yr.damn crazy i know. but the satisfaction from the smiles cant b measured :D

and my past 2 days were spent washing close to 70 cars at Holland V as part of a fund raising project for the old Folks home. i washed All sorts of cars that i can easily name them now.
there was Audi, SLKs,BMWs,manymany Mini coopers,tiny vintage car,countless of convertibles and EVEN ROLLS ROYCE!!!!!!!!! omgggg. unfortunately, i din manage to wash the latter. HAHHHHHHHHA. ):
and we washed the cars for close to 8 hrs non-stop cos business was TOOO gd, im suffering from f bad body aches and a cough now (prolly from dehydation)argh.
oh and anyway saw many stars at holland V like chen han wei and vincent ng. hah.

Last week was great! met up w a no. of ppl, like finally!! :D

first for the week was Lex, my ex-collgeaue from Pmg.Who knew i would actually keep in touch w them eh? afterall its been 6+mths since i left that company. but since realising networking is impt, i decided to b less unfriendly and more open bt maintaining friendships (haha) -aint you proud of me mich? and perhaps cia & indian?

Next met up w mich darl t shop ard for sis's present followed by dinner and then..CAMWHORING!!! a wonder how we can embarrass ourselves and not b bothered bt others' stares when it comes to camwhoring.tsktsk.

Later that night headed to clarkquay to meet mat , she was ALL ALONE . cos zhao & ling overslept (wads new?) so i had to rush down to accompany that poor girl.talk for darn long before the girls arrived. and then with e 2 chatterbox's arrival it was ofcos more talkin and catchingup! (sorry lor,we dont bitch anymore. HAHAHA)

On a serious note, the musical wasnt that bad.considering it was once again produced by Ms loh and Mrs Tan. I mean its amazing how they could create musicals and relate them to the previous ones.So yes, Father's Gift is a coninuation of 2004's The Father's Hand. I would say the style is very similar (like duh cos its produced by the same ppl), however the musical this time rd didnt strike me as hard or moved me to tears as it did previously.. oh well still, no matter what behind every musical lies hellot of hard work ,time and tears. Ive been thru that myself =]

Jo , mx & I were feeling adventurous, so we decided to explore the school- as much as i must admit the new sch's looking really cool and high tech, i hate how it lacks the warmth it used to have. I could remember fondly how i used to walk and laugh along those corridors, yet then again, they look so unfamiliar. sigh.

I hate it,everytime i have to walk pass Hotel 81 & the indian stall to get to my house. Each time i walk pass the place, a old man on e table will stare hard at me, and the next thing u know, the entire table of old men starts ogling at you.

had driving in the morning, and for the 1st time, i drove rd SengKang. My driving instructor is crazy. HAHA. he kept pointing to all the new buildings coming up and new facilities tt SK has, cos seeing how excited he was,i politely commented ive nv been to that part of SK/Punggol before (which is true).as i was driving, making U Turns he'll starts pointing EVERY direction and go "neh,there's a speedboat place there,swimming complex.... yadayda". so i just nodded my head cos i had to concentrate driving right. BUT, he was like "see!!" , so i was forced to TURN ard to look at wadeva building as i was U Turning,not knowing wads ahead.

MAD.hahahahha!

Anyway last night's class gathering turned out better than expected altho we ended up at Central KOPITIAM for our supposed chilling out session. but oh well, it turned out to b a pretty perfect place for us to cam-whore,screech (zhao,ling only) and catchup :D

This is the first time im blogging from the office because I just realized its not a restricted site!
(but im feeling rather uneasy cos tones of ppl walk pass my desk..)

Well, there are many sudden ~~random~~ thoughts that ran through my mind just now.
I saw these 2 colleagues who r pretty high rank being chided in a rather harsh manner by a lady who’s higher up the corporate ladder
It got me thinking really deep..

If anybody ever thought im straightforward and harsh, then they’ve only seen the tip of the iceberg.
The real working world out there is merciless and to some extend cruel. There is practically zero tolerance for mistakes while it is assumed that one will meet expectations..

Im pretty glad I stepped out of my comfort zone despite some objections from my parents.Taking up various part time jobs then finally settling down for a job that will prepare for what I’ll face in the future.Man, I must say Ive learnt a lot. As much as Ive got to agree, each job stint gives u different experiences, I must say the current job ive got right now is the one that has really made me grow, learn and mature.

Past experiences in the retail field was nothing. People in general were just ultra bitchy & childish (well, cos its all students working there..).Yeah. That made me really weary of people ,because it seems everyone was putting a sweet façade, yet deep down tracking ur every move, pouncing on every chance to bring you down.
Then my job as a recep was one hell of a great time. People there were far too kind to me but then again, I learn how important it was to make people like you,to grab every opportunity you could to know people and make them remember you.
Next up was the telemarketing job which to some extend was stressful, because there are expectations to be met and the boss wasn’t too kind to overlook ur flaws or give you any allowance just because you’re a temp staff.
And now from my current job, I learnt that networking and socializing is one hell of a vital skill that every person ought to possess to survive in the corporate world.(or to b successful) And you could guess that’s not a skill easy to master. Because you wouldn’t wanna come across looking like you’re trying too hard or give yourself away by looking uneasy.
And ofcourse, the people ard you may not be all that nice as they seem to be. Some try to dump you all their work, while some observe your every move, hoping to catch your every flaw.

Don’t be mistaken.. im not having a hard time at work la. infact ive been too bored. Having my own free time 7 hrs a day (out of 8 working hrs). Which explains the abundant time ive got to observe people, evaluate their every gesture and have deep thoughts.

The place my popo lives is like a mini old town. There's this small stretch of road side stalls selling random food.We bought pancakes for our journey to genting- Which MAT later LOST IT -.-

Our journey to Gentng felt like Journey to the West =/

First, we waited 28738239 mins for a cab (which explains my really excited look) to KL Central

Then we missed the 12pm bus to genting.Hence decided to tk the train

me:mat, where's the pancakes (we bought earlier)?

Had a mini panic attack on the train. Our destination was suppose to be Putra Gombak.. but that station was no where to be seen on the mrt direction board!!! wth. then we realised they named it differently altho it refers to the same station... #$#$%$%^#%^

Finally took a freaking cab up to Genting .
After much bargain we got a couple to share the cab w us for a lower cab fare...

I was in misery.... :(
The crazy taxi driver was speeding at like 90km/hr or smt and changing lanes every min, and swerving rd turns ...

Squashed like sardines-The result of being Budget. LOL

And finally... GENTING!!!!!
it was a ultraaaa last min thing, bu we ended up not staying in Awana Hotel which i had a free 1 night stay. Instead, zhao's dad who was at genting at tt time, booked a night for us at Genting Highlands, a 5 star Hotel.
WOOOOHOOOOOOO!!! thanks zhao & her father!! :*

and thanks to zhao's dad once again, we got to enter the VIP area and lunched at the VIP restaurant :D

The Crazy ride. OMG. 3 of us had wobbly feet and cold sweat when it was our turn. thank got it lasted for a few mins. now we officially declare tt, we nolonger fear jumping off 15 storey buildings (:

i felt a lil nausea aft all the thrill rides. so i skipped this ride which was perhaps the ultimate. they had to pay extra for this ride. It spins like crazy... i am speechless.

Had Pizza Hut for an early dinner cos we were tired for god knows wad reason.(perhaps its due to the screaming..),so anw, Pizza Hut at genting SUCKS BIG TIME?!?! they ran out of chilli n cheese powder so we didnt have spices for our pizza. and mat's spaghetti was a darn small portion and way below standard as well. Till the pt, mat actually lodged a complain!! O.O

Went back to our hotel. rested, played a game of Genga before getting ready for our Wild night. LOL (u didnt think we were gonna slp were u? considering mat e clubber queen's ard )

we danced at a corner for a while cos i was too shy to dance at the dance floor. LOL. well, tts bcos the crowd is mostly in their 40s,50s. and it felt like u were dancing ur mum & dad, and thats bloody weird?!?!
after a while it got better. so we proceded to the dance floor. was super disgusted by those ah peks dancing merrily w young girls, and aunties doing their dance (eg.line dance, work outs) on the dance floor and the ultimate was the TRANNIES!! 3 of them... gross's the word.
So well, zhao attempted pole dancing in mat's slippers (lol) cos she wanted to b like them... gd try zhao..

Headed back to the hotel at 2+. had a nice warm feet soaking session. shiok!

4 bitches and 3 boyfriends turned up. So it was a game of men vs women .(altho we considered zx to b part of the girls.LOL)
Had 3 hrs of crazy board games ,can die!

Sweet reunion for the 4 of us on wed.Its been so long since the 4 of us hung out together,catching up over a meal.
I suppose changes is inevitable. Just hope that for better or for worse the changes are, we'll still b friends forever (:

ROARRR!! i HATE taking the bus!! ive had far toooooo many experiences losing my way that ive really got a phobia of it.
And so, this time rd i was taking a bus back from UBI driving centre to Eunos MRT station.and apparently, the bloody direction board is soo misleading la!!!! it states 'opp Eunos station' As one of its stop.. BUT HELLO?!?! it wasnt even gg anywhere near Eunos station.i totally freaked out when the guy beside me told me it dosent go pass Eunos and the only station it'll pass thru is TANAH MERAH.
i swear i felt like crying. this is how i always feel each time i take a unknown bus and ends up losing my way. =|

Oh yea, having read wad mx said abt Orientations...
i hate orientation and i TOTALLY suck at it. i am totally unenthusiastic when it comes to such stuff. But oh well. ive got no one with me at SMU and that makes me alone, pathetic and miserable.
Its nolonger a choice to like or dislike orientations. :'(

The entire episode just taught me to be more weary of people i call my friends.
And it got me wondering if its just a fact that frens come and go just like how swiftly one passes through each stage of life..
Isnt it tiring to share wonderful memories with different ppl who, ironically are quickly forgotten? Why cant some things just last forever?

Friendship issues aside, i had a mini panic attack when i visited the SMU site today and realised there's shitloads of admin & camps to attend to before sch starts on 18 Aug.In other words, i wont b able to have my much needed rest before uni starts :(

Was in a terrible dilemma for hours
I was torn between ;
1)Being paid alot of $ for rotting
2)Terminating contract to rot at home & have abundant fun b4 sch starts

Ive done quite alot this week. mainly grooming myself.
have done my own pedicure, had a fab facial,did a parafin (??) hand wax,got my eyebrows trimmed and a good hair trim. (:
Oh, ive been practising dance at home to trim of wadeva fats i can,reading up alot on makeup teckniques and not to mention i just spent quite a sum on hair & face prdts for jy & myself.
wellwell.. i think im experiencing a transition stage where i just think im ugly(er)and that every girl on the street seems prettier.
why so? i dont know.

SIGH.

I am going through everyday of work telling myself 'I CANT TAKE IT ANYMORE'.

so while i was rotting at work... i browsed through the sichuan earthquake pics and it really got me thinking/hoping that i cld do smt more meaningful and at the same time impactful to my life. Ive been wanting to do Overseas CIP for as long as i can rmb. but somehow, the plan didnt fall through... and now i really wish i could play my part, be one of the volunteers there helping the victims and all..
once again.. i doubt that wish wld come through..:(

Anw, today's a bloody bad day. everythings just wrong.

1)I FREAKING got mosquito bites on MY FACE and arms!! (and u girls shld know how much i ABHOR MOSQUITOES!!!!!!!!)
2)As a result, i didnt have a gd slp. bcos i woke up several times putting mopiko and trying to kill the bloody mosquitos
3)I felt fugly nd depressed the entire day
4)I slipped and nearly did a split on my way t UBI driving centre (omggg)

The highlight of this week is ofcos none other than my fellow bitch ,darling Lim wei Ling's 19th bday!
And because of her.. i had a a few stressful nights of planning and then being accused of flirting w her bf and being called a bitch like countless of times! tskk

As we wanteed this celeb to b slghtly diff from all other previous bday celebrations, ling's early bday celeb was held at Minds cafe @ boat quay. HAD HELL LOTS OF FUN through all the games. got to know the girls much much more i must say.

who would knew our clubber mat was so bad at coordinating her fingers?

The aftermath of the 3473468 hrs spent there was a few ultra funny/unglam/candid videos of mat (& yj HAHAH), several scratch marks on my fingers (LIM WEI LING!!!!),a terrible tummy/face ache from all the laughing & ofcos a very happy bday girl (:

The wed was the day, the suprise hy planned (and me assisting him) was executed. All turned out well la. altho there were times ling was jus being the usual spoiler and dreamer. -.-
but its ok, we all got use to it alrd, so wadeva she said was just ignored! ahaha.

This week's by far my busiest week!

met vic bestie on tues.suppose to celeb that girlie's bday,but she ended up having really bad fever, so i visited at her place instead. caught up alot,but din take any pics w her cos she said she's very chui. oh well...love you nonetheless! (:

had my first driving lesson on wed!! being on the road and taking charge of the car totally rocks. it was such an amazing experience,as in, its such a wonder how my legs and arms cld coordinate all together.for me that is. -.-''
and all it took was 30 mins of intro b4 i started driving on the road. stalled only 3-4 times. AND I THINK THATS DAMN GOOD LOR! hahahahah.

thurs was also the day i started my 1st latin Jam with wj. oh man. the chao ah qua super crude can. I was god damn embarrassed on my 1st lesson alrd =/ hahha. but oh yell!! fun fun fun!! (IM GONNA PROVE TO THE WORLD TT I CAN COORDINATE SOOOOOON)

sat went for smu hightea which was blahh, and then mich's super belated bday party.caught up alot w the classmates!!! glad to see everyone doing great and looking gd (except for poor boon whose looking more like a refugee now...)hehe.

finally an entry..
sorry luh. work is wearing me out,i was tired the entire week, dragging my feet to work each morning. work is really sian and driving me crazy. I NEED A BREAK!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

took a 4 hrs car ride and then headed straight for my popo's lunch bday celebration! it was so gd seeing all the msian relatives again. its been eons since its last been to KL as previously i was tied down to all my endless study commitments. heh.
Shopped a lil at Mid-valley shopping centre before heading back to spore on Sunday again.
The aftermath of the 8 hrs of car ride is a f bad shoulder ache =|

was so looking forward to MOS last fri, but it turned out so shitty coz of all the shitty music. ZzZzz

just received my RI jacket from jy as part of my bday gift.
and i just realised it costs 159 bucks, not 150 bucks. and that its not made of leather O.O certainly over priced, but hard to resist :(
I know ive been having a humongous,expensive appetite since i started working =|

but anyway, this is the 3rd week ive not bought a thing :D smt worth rejoicing,since ive been shopping and buying new clothes and items weekly without fail since the start of 2008. i am very detemined to wait patiently for my Bkk trip, where i'll hunt for good buys :)

so anyway, i met up with the bitches on thurs, it was meant to b a belated celeb for my bday and an early celebration for wj. hahaha.

Been having celebrations everyday, so this will b a long post,bare with it :)

Sunday
Went out with jy as part of my bday celeb. Had yummilicious nann at Banana Apollo then headed to chinatown.While we were on our way to Ann Siang hill, we decided to visit the Chinatown Heritage Centre. It is so super cool, i really didnt mind gg there again! :D

Then we headed to Ann Siang like finally aft reading so much bt it. Found the Fred Perry shop and a few boutiques,the rest of the cafes/shops are closed and it was just a empty street!!:'(

Climbed up a flight of stairs to Ann Siang Hill,hoping to catch some picturesque scenery, but wad greeted us wa a freaking Gay gym/club/massage palour. -.-
The place is so sleezy pls. There were 2 topless girls wrapped in towels,looking like they just returned from skinny dipping =/

Aft tt headed to Dempsey Hill for dinner celebration with family. ate at Barrack house, nice ambience ,but food wasnt all that fantastic.

My conclusion is,Ann Siang and Demsey Hill are both overated! tsktsk.

Monday
work's getting interesting.when there's 2 girls and a guy, things always get messy! LOL. anyway lunched with darling ling & jade made my day :)
To top it off,been e-mailing Jade during work and she's a real entainer man! haha 2 lines from her that are note worthy :

The day i turned 19. The day i received serveral wishes of which many reminded me "ITS UR LAST TEEN YRS" -.-'' thanks man!
But things didnt start off really well,
1)I forgot to set my alarm clock and woke up late
2)I was late for work by 15 mins ( i know la, 15 only)
3)I made several mistakes at work!!

jade said : You're the birthday girl today! everything you do is right,everyone else is wrong!!hahaha .with that.i felt so much better :P

then ling darling text me asking me wad floor my office is at. i asked her why and she said she's bring documents up and she wants to tk the chance to see me to give me bday kiss. so i didnt suspect a thing lor.
And just nice when came up, i was in the toilet busy dolling up..and when i finally came back,alvin came running to me telling me "zihui! emelin from xxx company is looking for you regarding xxx funds!!" was too so stunned. Then when i ran out, it was actually Lim wei ling holding a big helium balloon!!!

Headed to Mos for Sean Kingston's Gig with Mich,vic (another supposed surprise!),jo,mx,jas,let,steff,cia,yy & denise.When Sean Kingston finally appeared, we were all so disappointed, coz he was much fatter and larger in person, was expecting a cute hamburger :(
The worse thing is , he only sang 3 songs and left aft half an hr! faints!
ended up clubbing aft tt. Music was fab!(:

had hellots of fun with the darling,doing all the crazy things with all the crazy ppl.hahaha. then aft tt the darling tried to give me another surprise by dragging me outta the club ,but i saw mich trying to light the candles for my cake from afar!! wahahha OPPS =X

aft everything, headed to boat quay with mx,mich,vic,cia & yy to EMO WITH ME . COZ I'LL B 19+ in 2 hrs. HAHHAA.

i am very tired, but awake. its 136am and im blogging... O.O

shall blog bt my 1st ever very interesting convo with a complete STRANGER.
was waiting for ice darling for close to an hr at dhoby gaut mrt station,so i sat down and plug my ipod.
But i took off my ear piece,when this lady approached me for directions.
the next moment,
malay guy sitting beside me : you waiting for a fren?
me: Huh. uh ya. (was stunned coz i din een realise there was someone sitiing beside me)
MGSBM : Can i know you?
me: hrmmhehh... No. (hurry turns awy and plug my ear piece back)

so the following 20 mins was hell awkward.coz we both continued sitting beside each other but facing in opp directions and there was an awful silence. mean while, i was doing super alot of self -reflections when i concluded tt i must have been the meanest person on earth bcoz he looked so disappointed and upset.

ok. shortly aft tt Ice came so yea i said bye to him. (:

so anyway i met Ice like super randomly met up bcoz we havent met or heard from each other fo 2 yrs -.-
met up with vic my dear bestfren finally as well after waiting for her for 1.5 hrs. i swear i was getting damn fed up, but yea she has a way la huh. -.-''
met up with boon,eug,mich,deb,cherell,rach,mat & zhao aft tt to bid boon and eug farewelll. wahaha. The initial plan was to go to some pub where there's liveband and stuff, then aft tt, we wanted to go homeclub to exp the Indie scene , BUT in the end, we ended up at some coffeeshop drinking our teh si and holicks . LOL.
Nonetheless it was a hell fun and crazy meet up :)

digressing, had my SMU interview today. it was pretty alright. but the essay is @##$%%$. shall just cross my fingers.
even so, i suppose being one of the 2000 out of 6000 applicants to b shortlisted for the interview is a privilege itself alrd ,
so wellllllll........ no matter wad the outcome is, i'll just b thankful !

life's been like the usual,so there's nothing much to blog abt.

didnt club on friday coz bitch club cldnt make it and i myself was totally exhausted. so met cia,jw & edwin for dinner at Ding Tai Fung for my much craved xiao long baosss.
Woohhoo! damn shiok. jw,cia & i behaved like we havent eaten for ages -.-
LOL.

went JB to Shao Mu with my parents on sun. its my 1st time doing tt in my whole entire life. coz previously i was either busy mugging or just too lazy to do such stuffs.But somehow,this time rd, just felt its time to carry out my duty as a daughter and grand daughter..etc (:

so anyway, we were really lucky to have avoided jams at woodlands. there was barely any jam. dropped by some shop tt sells all the praying stuffs.
bought a villa,burberry shirt,mahjong set,gold bars and several 10 billion notes for the ancestors -.-

next headed to 3 cemetries and 1 temple to start the ritual.
woah, it was crazyyyyyy.the heat and smoke totally killed me. think i didnt help much coz in the end dad kept asking me to stand in the shade..etc. haha so bro-in law and dad,the men of the family ,did all the dirty job.
One of the cemetry where my great grand father is was situated just beside kampong houses. gosh. i was soooo stunned.Ive always thought Msia's a pretty developed country. till i saw those places.. it reminded me so much of China's rural areas..

after everything. did some shopping. had my french mani & pedi ,went giant and my parents bought close to 350 bucks worth of grocery,feast then finally headed home.

digressing, tmr's 1st april.honestly i cant believe 3 whole mths have passed. its like when i think back, i really have no idea wad ive been doing for the past 90 days. sighss.

Turning 19 soon.
i am so looking forward to this yr's bday. (note the sarcasm)

you know how it feels when u check the ans sheet and realise ur ans r all diff by 1 DECIMAL?!?! and then having to trace back wad exactly went wrong!?

I AM TYPING RIGHT NOW USING MY BRAND NEW LAPTOP!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

hahhaa i am damn shocked and amazed.

1)dad knew the com kept hanging so suggested i get a laptop
2)i wasnt all tt keen,afterall uni fair's just erm 5 more mths!!!
3)mum & dad went funan IT Mall with me to get a laptop
4)i set my eyes on the acer laptop as its rather cheap and have good specs
5)briefly mentioned tt i like a white laptop
6)dad insisted i get toshiba since there's colours for me to choose from
7)i insisted on acer coz its cheaper and as good tho heavier(but its ok for me..)
8)somehow,last min,they got me the toshiba 13'' lappy 3gb ram in alphine white!!!
9)which cost 400 bucks more than acer
10)totally not worth it!!!

anyway,bottomline is,im damn loved by my parents!!!
really appreciate everything tt they r doing for me :D

really hope i wont screw up this com since im always so rough with my stuffs and im a complete computer idiot =/

the initial plan was to get a laptop at the uni fair coz it'll b cheaper, but now.. i dunno man...

on a happier note, this week's been pretty good.

I met a flasher today :/

was walking to serangoon mrt today,was walking along the pathway by the road when i just so happened to turn to my left (facing the HDBs) and i saw this topless old man in a weird "taiji" position. after a second look i realised wads so weird bt it..
he was actually pulling down his ah pek draw string shorts infront,exposing his.. ahem.
totally omg. and like 5m awy was some childcare centre with kids waiting outside can!! but apparently, it seemed like i was the only unlucky one who saw.but
anyway thanks to my imperfect eyesight,i didnt see anything much. heh.

digressing, today's my 2nd day of work. it kinda sucks. i know i shldnt jump into conclusion when ive still got 5 mths more..
but my dept's really small(just 4 ppl) and apparently my colleagues dun have a habit of having lunch tgt. so i guess i'll be on my own most of the time :'( :'(

ive been really snappy at my mum lately.
and anyway situation in my hse is quite screwed.

Bought a pair of Puma sports(?!)shoes from Venue Lab.super pretty!!! Originally cost $399,But there was sales ofcourse.. still not VERY cheap la k.
It was a pretty impulsive buy.
1stly coz we both agreed its gorgeous.2ndly coz i need a sports shoe(but honestly, tts too pretty for running =/) and 3rdly coz this cute charismatic sales guy was following us,serving us as we got ard the shop.
HAHAHAHA.
great, i spent an amt on smt tt i dunno if i'll really wear or not O.O

Sat down with that girl and did quite alot of catching up :) met lots of familiar faces as well.
